This is a fantastic opportunity to take part in the daily life at the farm. We have up to 6 spots available each week, and it is a good idea to apply early!
Once you are here on your workweek, you will also be involved in the feeding and general grooming of the animals together with employees at Langedrag. Among the animals you will be in close contact with is: Horses, goats, sheep, pigs, doves, ducks, rabbits, wild boars, reindeer, foxes and many more.
When you arrive, you will be greeted by an employee who will give you a work schedule for the week. A regular work day is 7,5 hours which is divided into different tasks. Below you can see an example of a work day:
07.00 – 09.00: Morning grooming
09.00 – 09.45: Breakfast
09.45 – 13.00: Farm tasks
13.00 – 13.30: Lunch
13.30 – 16.00: Relax/Spare time (During this time you can also join the feeding of wolves, lynx and foxes at 14:00).

During your week you can also join us on a horseride and even go into the moose! You can also ask to walk dogs or join a dogsled ride. You could also be joining in on our wolf and lynx visits if there are enough people signed up (this costs extra).
To join our work week program you will pay 250 NOK per day to cover board and lodging. Transportation to and from Langedrag is something you will need to arrange yourself, but we might be able to pick you up in “Nesbyen”, although this is not guaranteed.
We hope you want to join our adventure here up in the mountains!
